[ Home ] [ WSD2009 ] [ Sound Design Working Group ] The Sound Working Group was established by the OISTAT Scenography Commission at its annual meeting in Bregenz, Austria in 2000. The Sound Working Group falls within the Scenography Commission of OISTAT, although we work very closely with the Education Commission in the production of Scenofest at the PQ.
The OISTAT SDWG wishes to thank and recognise Richard K Thomas for the enormous effort, commitment, wisdom and dedication shown whilst forming this group and also for his leadership in the first seven years of its existence.

Current projects include; the organisation and realisation of Sound Design projects for Scenofest at the Prague Quadrennial 2011, exploring methods and opportunities to exhibit sound design and composition, gathering together the enormous amounts of audio and written resources held by the working group in order to make these more accessible to interested parties and producing a series of webinars.
